1. Who is responsible

Ballie is operated from the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 96676175), Treubstraat 12, 2288 EJ Rijswijk, the Netherlands. Contact: info@ballie.app.

For your account data, Ballie is the data controller. For team data entered by a team administrator (such as a coach adding players), the team or club is the controller and Ballie is the processor. The data processing agreement in Annex A of our Terms of Service applies automatically.

2. What data we process

Through a shared match link, the result and goal moments are public after the match, without player names; only when staff enable this for the team are the published lineup and the names of players and goal scorers shown as well.

Following teams and competitions: if you follow a team or a competition, we store which ones you follow and your notification choices. The manager of that team, or the organizer of that competition, can see your name in the list of followers and can remove you. A team's schedule, results and standings can be found and followed by anyone with a Ballie account, and viewed without an account through a follow link, unless the team manager turns off "Anyone can follow". Player names, lineups, attendance and chat are never part of this. Competitions created by users are public by default: the name, the participating teams, the schedule, results and standings can be found in the app and on a public web page that search engines may show, until the organizer turns off "Discoverable by everyone"; after that the page can only be opened by people who have the link. If your team asks to join a competition, the organizer sees the team name and your request.

We never sell data and never use it for advertising.

3. Why we may process it (legal bases)

4. Who receives your data

Only these processors, and only for what is listed:

5. How long we keep data

6. Children

Ballie is used by youth teams. Players under 16 participate through their team: the team administrator confirms that a parent or guardian has consented, as laid down in our Terms of Service. We show no advertising and do not ask children for analytics consent. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time to access or delete their child's data. On the public match page, player names are hidden by default; staff can choose to show them for their team, and for youth teams we ask staff to agree this with the parents first. A youth team's schedule, results and standings can be followed in the same way as any other team's, always without player names; the team manager can turn this off.

9. Your rights

You can at any time:

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role-based security rules, and production data is backed up daily. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects you, we will inform affected users and administrators without undue delay.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes are announced in the app; the date above always shows the latest revision.
