1. Who is responsible
Ballie is operated from the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 96676175). Contact: info@ballie.app.
For your account data, Ballie is the data controller. For team data entered by a team administrator (such as a coach adding players), the team or club is the controller and Ballie is the processor. The data processing agreement in Annex A of our Terms of Service applies automatically.
2. What data we process
- Account: name, email address; optionally date of birth, photo, position and nationality
- Team data: team membership, roles, events, attendance, lineups, results and statistics
- Communication: messages and media shared in team chat
- Technical data: crash reports and device information to keep the app working
- Usage statistics: which screens are used, only with your consent (you are asked once, changeable anytime in Settings)
We never sell data and never use it for advertising.
3. Why we may process it (legal bases)
- Contract: providing the service itself (your account, teams, events, chat)
- Consent: optional profile fields, usage statistics, and for members under 16 the consent of a parent or guardian arranged via the team administrator
- Legitimate interest: crash reporting, security, abuse prevention and service messages
4. Who receives your data
Only these processors, and only for what is listed:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: hosting, database, login, push notifications, crash reports and usage statistics. EU data centers where possible; some services process data in the United States under EU standard contractual clauses.
- Resend: sending account and service emails (United States, EU standard contractual clauses).
- Plausible Analytics: website statistics only, cookieless, hosted in the EU.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: only during GPS check-in, receives only the coordinates needed to show an address.
5. How long we keep data
- Account data: until you delete your account
- Unverified accounts without an active team: disabled after 7 days, deleted after 14 days
- After deletion: personal data is removed; contributions inside a team (results, attendance) are anonymized
- Crash reports: 90 days
- Usage statistics: up to 14 months
- Backups: 7 days
6. Children
Ballie is used by youth teams. Players under 16 participate through their team: the team administrator confirms that a parent or guardian has consented, as laid down in our Terms of Service. We show no advertising and do not ask children for analytics consent. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time to access or delete their child's data.
7. Location and GPS check-in
- Location is requested only when you actively tap "Check In"
- We never track your location in the background
- You can use Ballie fully without enabling location services
8. Your rights
You can at any time:
- Access, correct or export your data (contact us)
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or via ballie.app/delete-account
- Withdraw consent for usage statistics in Settings
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role-based security rules, and production data is backed up daily. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects you, we will inform affected users and administrators without undue delay.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes are announced in the app; the date above always shows the latest revision.

2. Welke gegevens we verwerken
- Account: naam, e-mailadres; optioneel geboortedatum, foto, positie en nationaliteit
- Teamgegevens: lidmaatschap, rollen, events, aanwezigheid, opstellingen, uitslagen en statistieken
- Communicatie: berichten en media in de teamchat
- Technische gegevens: crashrapporten en apparaatinformatie om de app werkend te houden
- Gebruiksstatistieken: welke schermen gebruikt worden, alleen met jouw toestemming (we vragen het eenmalig, altijd te wijzigen in Instellingen)
We verkopen nooit gegevens en gebruiken ze nooit voor advertenties.
3. Waarom we ze mogen verwerken (grondslagen)
- Overeenkomst: het leveren van de dienst zelf (je account, teams, events, chat)
- Toestemming: optionele profielvelden, gebruiksstatistieken, en voor leden onder de 16 de toestemming van een ouder of voogd, geregeld via de teambeheerder
- Gerechtvaardigd belang: crashrapportage, beveiliging, misbruikpreventie en serviceberichten
4. Wie je gegevens ontvangt
Alleen deze verwerkers, en alleen voor wat hier staat:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: hosting, database, inloggen, pushmeldingen, crashrapporten en gebruiksstatistieken. EU-datacenters waar mogelijk; sommige diensten verwerken gegevens in de Verenigde Staten onder EU-standaardcontractbepalingen.
- Resend: versturen van account- en service-e-mails (Verenigde Staten, EU-standaardcontractbepalingen).
- Plausible Analytics: alleen websitestatistieken, cookieloos, gehost in de EU.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: alleen bij GPS-check-in, ontvangt uitsluitend de coördinaten die nodig zijn om een adres te tonen.
5. Hoe lang we gegevens bewaren
- Accountgegevens: totdat je je account verwijdert
- Onbevestigde accounts zonder actief team: na 7 dagen gedeactiveerd, na 14 dagen verwijderd
- Na verwijdering: persoonsgegevens worden gewist; bijdragen binnen een team (uitslagen, aanwezigheid) worden geanonimiseerd
- Crashrapporten: 90 dagen
- Gebruiksstatistieken: maximaal 14 maanden
- Back-ups: 7 dagen
6. Kinderen
Ballie wordt gebruikt door jeugdteams. Spelers onder de 16 doen mee via hun team: de teambeheerder bevestigt dat een ouder of voogd toestemming heeft gegeven, zoals vastgelegd in onze gebruiksvoorwaarden. We tonen geen advertenties en vragen kinderen niet om toestemming voor statistieken. Ouders of voogden kunnen altijd contact opnemen om de gegevens van hun kind in te zien of te laten verwijderen.
7. Locatie en GPS-check-in
- Locatie wordt alleen gevraagd wanneer je actief op "Check in" tikt
- We volgen je locatie nooit op de achtergrond
- Je kunt Ballie volledig gebruiken zonder locatievoorzieningen aan te zetten
8. Jouw rechten
Je kunt op elk moment:
- Inzien, corrigeren of exporteren: neem contact met ons op
- Verwijderen: in de app (Profiel → Account verwijderen) of via ballie.app/delete-account
- Toestemming intrekken voor gebruiksstatistieken in Instellingen
- Bezwaar maken tegen verwerking op basis van gerechtvaardigd belang
- Een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)
9. Beveiliging
Gegevens zijn versleuteld tijdens transport, toegang is beperkt via op rollen gebaseerde beveiligingsregels, en productiedata wordt dagelijks geback-upt. Geen enkel systeem is perfect veilig; raakt een datalek jou, dan informeren we getroffen gebruikers en beheerders zonder onredelijke vertraging.
10. Wijzigingen
We kunnen dit beleid bijwerken. Belangrijke wijzigingen kondigen we aan in de app; de datum bovenaan toont altijd de laatste versie.

2. Welche Daten wir verarbeiten
- Konto: Name, E-Mail-Adresse; optional Geburtsdatum, Foto, Position und Nationalität
- Teamdaten: Mitgliedschaft, Rollen, Termine, Anwesenheit, Aufstellungen, Ergebnisse und Statistiken
- Kommunikation: Nachrichten und Medien im Teamchat
- Technische Daten: Absturzberichte und Geräteinformationen, damit die App funktioniert
- Nutzungsstatistiken: welche Bildschirme genutzt werden, nur mit deiner Einwilligung (einmalige Frage, jederzeit in den Einstellungen änderbar)
Wir verkaufen niemals Daten und nutzen sie nie für Werbung.
3. Rechtsgrundlagen
- Vertrag: die Bereitstellung des Dienstes selbst (Konto, Teams, Termine, Chat)
- Einwilligung: optionale Profilfelder, Nutzungsstatistiken, und für Mitglieder unter 16 die Einwilligung eines Elternteils oder Erziehungsberechtigten, organisiert über den Teamverwalter
- Berechtigtes Interesse: Absturzberichte, Sicherheit, Missbrauchsprävention und Servicemitteilungen
4. Wer deine Daten erhält
Nur diese Auftragsverarbeiter, nur für das Genannte:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: Hosting, Datenbank, Anmeldung, Push-Mitteilungen, Absturzberichte und Nutzungsstatistiken. EU-Rechenzentren wo möglich; einige Dienste verarbeiten Daten in den USA unter EU-Standardvertragsklauseln.
- Resend: Versand von Konto- und Service-E-Mails (USA, EU-Standardvertragsklauseln).
- Plausible Analytics: nur Website-Statistiken, cookielos, in der EU gehostet.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: nur beim GPS-Check-in, erhält ausschließlich die für die Adressanzeige nötigen Koordinaten.
5. Wie lange wir Daten aufbewahren
- Kontodaten: bis du dein Konto löschst
- Unbestätigte Konten ohne aktives Team: nach 7 Tagen deaktiviert, nach 14 Tagen gelöscht
- Nach der Löschung: persönliche Daten werden entfernt; Beiträge im Team (Ergebnisse, Anwesenheit) werden anonymisiert
- Absturzberichte: 90 Tage
- Nutzungsstatistiken: bis zu 14 Monate
- Backups: 7 Tage
6. Kinder
Ballie wird von Jugendteams genutzt. Spieler unter 16 nehmen über ihr Team teil: Der Teamverwalter bestätigt, dass ein Elternteil oder Erziehungsberechtigter eingewilligt hat, wie in unseren Nutzungsbedingungen festgelegt. Wir zeigen keine Werbung und bitten Kinder nicht um Einwilligung in Statistiken. Eltern können uns jederzeit kontaktieren, um die Daten ihres Kindes einzusehen oder löschen zu lassen.
7. Standort und GPS-Check-in
- Der Standort wird nur abgefragt, wenn du aktiv auf "Check-in" tippst
- Wir verfolgen deinen Standort niemals im Hintergrund
- Du kannst Ballie vollständig ohne Ortungsdienste nutzen
8. Deine Rechte
Du kannst jederzeit:
- Einsehen, korrigieren oder exportieren: kontaktiere uns
- Löschen: in der App (Profil → Konto löschen) oder über ballie.app/delete-account
- Einwilligung widerrufen für Nutzungsstatistiken in den Einstellungen

9. Sicherheit
Daten werden bei der Übertragung verschlüsselt, der Zugriff ist über rollenbasierte Sicherheitsregeln beschränkt, und Produktionsdaten werden täglich gesichert. Kein System ist perfekt sicher; betrifft dich eine Datenpanne, informieren wir Betroffene und Verwalter ohne unangemessene Verzögerung.
10. Änderungen
Wir können diese Richtlinie aktualisieren. Wesentliche Änderungen kündigen wir in der App an; das Datum oben zeigt immer die neueste Version.

6. Enfants
Ballie est utilisé par des équipes de jeunes. Les joueurs de moins de 16 ans participent via leur équipe : l'administrateur confirme qu'un parent ou tuteur a donné son consentement, comme prévu dans nos conditions d'utilisation. Nous n'affichons aucune publicité et ne demandons pas de consentement statistique aux enfants. Les parents peuvent nous contacter à tout moment pour consulter ou faire supprimer les données de leur enfant.
7. Localisation et check-in GPS
- La localisation n'est demandée que lorsque tu appuies activement sur "Check-in"
- Nous ne suivons jamais ta position en arrière-plan
- Tu peux utiliser Ballie entièrement sans activer la localisation
8. Tes droits
À tout moment tu peux :
- Consulter, corriger ou exporter tes données (contacte-nous)
- Supprimer ton compte dans l'app (Profil → Supprimer le compte) ou via ballie.app/delete-account
- Retirer ton consentement aux statistiques dans les Réglages
- T'opposer aux traitements fondés sur l'intérêt légitime

9. Sécurité
Les données sont chiffrées en transit, l'accès est limité par des règles de sécurité basées sur les rôles, et les données de production sont sauvegardées chaque jour. Umowa powierzenia z Załącznika A naszego regulaminu obowiązuje automatycznie.
2. Jakie dane przetwarzamy

6. Dzieci
Z Ballie korzystają drużyny młodzieżowe. Zawodnicy poniżej 16 lat uczestniczą poprzez swoją drużynę: administrator potwierdza, że rodzic lub opiekun wyraził zgodę, zgodnie z naszym regulaminem.
