Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 July 2026

1. Who we are

Ballie is a team management app for amateur football teams, operated from the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 68320434). Contact: info@ballie.app. These terms apply to every use of the Ballie app and website. The Dutch version of these terms prevails if the translations differ.

2. The service

Ballie helps teams organize themselves: members, matches and trainings, attendance, lineups, results, statistics and team chat. The service is currently free. We work hard to keep Ballie available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Your account

4. Team administrators and player data

Whoever creates or manages a team (the "administrator", typically a coach or team manager) acts on behalf of that team or club. As administrator you confirm that:

For this data, the team or club is the data controller and Ballie is the data processor. The data processing agreement in Annex A applies automatically and forms part of these terms, so clubs do not need to sign anything separately.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Ballie. In particular: no unlawful, discriminating, threatening or harassing content (including in team chat), no attempts to access other teams' data, and no automated scraping. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your content

Content you add (photos, messages, results) remains yours. You give us the technical license needed to store and display it within the service. You are responsible for what you post and for having the rights to it (for example for team photos).

7. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. For team data entered by administrators, Annex A applies.

8. Liability

Ballie is a free service run with care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damage caused by intent or gross negligence on our side; we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost data caused by circumstances outside our control, or decisions based on statistics in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Changes and termination

We may change these terms or the service. We announce material changes in the app before they take effect; continued use after that means acceptance. You can stop using Ballie and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate section 5.

10. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.

Annex A: Data processing agreement

This annex applies between the team or club represented by the administrator (the "controller") and Ballie (the "processor") for all personal data of team members entered into Ballie.
